When I Get Home is a collaborative book delving into a collection of handmade road signs found along the drive from Asheville to Boone. Included are reproductions of film photos taken over the span of two years, as well as sketches of the surrounding environments. 

The book takes inspiration from Elizabeth Cotten’s 1958 recording of “When I Get Home.”
